For brevity, these test cases describe jobs using specs: a 2- or 3-tuple:
(<job state>, <date_due time delta>, <requesting user, if present>).
The time delta is measured in days relative to the present, so using a value of -1 creates a job with a date_due of 1 day ago. The instance method makeJob() creates actual CodeImportJob objects from these specs.
