Welcome to The Ubuntu Museum! Here, you can find screenshots, screencasts, and usable virtual appliance images of each of the retired Ubuntu releases. While these versions of Ubuntu are no longer supported and should not be used for any production purposes, they are an important part of our history. It is both informative and entertaining to see how Ubuntu has evolved. The virtual machines are compressed qcow2 disk images, created using QEMU and KVM. Each image is a default, i386 Ubuntu desktop installation. All packages have been updated to their final resting state. The username and password are both ubuntu. Enjoy! Additional screenshots of Ubuntu's art may be found in the Artwork Archives. |
