Agenda

• bug noise about menu items not being visible has died down and people appreciate a concise menu now; also it's easy enough to re-enable the menu items via alacarte
• Daniel says "I'm not sure if patching gnome-panel or gnome-menu and adding a GTK configuration tool to control-center for the 'verbosity level' is the way to go"
• Upstream is likely to use the gnome-control-center shell next cycle, they are also merging some capplets in a new apparences one
